As a founder of multiple companies in the past including FounderPass, We've had experience in using Pipedrive as a CRM with a focus on the sales aspect of our businesses. We used it in our past marketing agency to track prospects, existing revenue from current clients, targets from our sales team and much more.
We've found it to be an incredibly intuitive compared to other CRM's that we had tested and it quickly became a core tool that our team used and one the business couldn't have imagined trading without. Having said this, it's important to analyze if this is right for your company though, if sales and pipelines are vital to your business and you don't have a CRM that manages it effectively then this could be a great option.
Don't just take it as a sales CRM though, as its certainly more flexible than just for sales, however it has traditionally been focussed on this as a core market for it's CRM software. One of the features that we loved was the ability to create customized deal pipelines without any restrictions. With a simple drag-and-drop functionality you can move deals through each stage of the pipeline, ensuring a streamlined and organized sales process. This flexibility when we used it allowed us to quickly change the pipeline as we introduced new services, changed internal practices and had new management procedures in place.
The platform's strength also lies in its highly customizable reports, enabling us to gain valuable insights into not only our overall sales performance but individual sales performances from within our team. By analyzing the data, we were than able to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement as well as potential areas where revenue was being lost. Additionally, the calendar and email integrations offered by Pipedrive were straightforward and efficient, helping to stay on top of my appointments and communication.
Another key strength was the ability to automate repetitive tasks, meaning we as a business could save time across the sales process and have more time to build better relationships with leads.
Although there are many positives, there are some drawbacks, if you're looking for a CRM that can be used across your businesses in all aspects, there are other CRM's such as Monday, Hubspot and Folk which may be more versatile for those wanting an all-in-one CRM. Additionally, the selection of email marketing tools are relatively limited in comparison to other companies which may mean you simply want to link Pipedrive across to these instead of using the inbuilt features. ,
Overall however Pipedrive has been a great addition to our past businesses and although we're not currently using it, hundreds of thousands use it daily in their sales process and love it.
